It's nice to see Pride being organised by people who are involved and a part of the community all year round. Yeovil Does Pride may be small compared to other Prides up and down the country, but it would be hard to find one anywhere with a bigger heart.
The Pride evening was just magical- there was a safe atmosphere, one I wish had been present in Yeovil when my children were growing up. Everyone was smiling and we all felt like part of one big happy family. Thank you so much.

Allies are welcome at all Yeovil Diversity Project events. Not only do we need and appreciate their support, but making space for allies means that no-one outs themselves by participating. This allows many closeted or questioning people to join in, while reducing any fear or anxiety they may have around with regards to being seen or associated with an LGBT+ event.
And this will be the answer!
Just bring a blanket and your food; we’re certain that’s all you’ll need for a good time! If getting up and down from the floor is an issue for you, you are welcome to bring a camping chair but otherwise let’s keep our celebration down to earth – literally. We need to pack away quickly once the event comes to an end.
